Here are seven reasons to get you inspired about your B2B marketing on Facebook, and how you can watch it become an integral part of your strategy.

1. Facebook Usage is Common place

As one of the oldest established social media networks, Facebook has a massive 1.4 billion strong user base. It is almost a certainty that your target market will be using the platform, at least to some degree. Many businesses that are less well established may only have a Facebook page as their online presence and are able to maintain online interaction from their Facebook alone.

2. Targeted Ads

Facebook is excellent at targeting ads on behalf companies that market on their platform. This is because Facebook users are quite extensively profiled throughout their usage, and as such it is surprisingly easy to find out what they are interested in. Using this information to immediately reach your target market, in combination with a compelling message, is a fantastic way to drive sales.

A business can get started marketing on Facebook for as little as $500- $1,000 budget per month, which is fantastic value for money. It is easy to set a budget, and you can even set a daily amount if required. 4. Using Email Addresses is Easy

If you have an email address list that you have purchased and have the rights to use on Facebook, you can create a “Custom Audience”. It is then possible to create a “Lookalike Audience” of people with similar interests. You can target specific people using the “Custom Audience” list, and create customised targeted messages for them.

5. Laser Like Targeting

The smallest custom or lookalike audience that you can create on Facebook is 20 people. This will allow you to get laser like precision targeting in your marketing efforts. It is a good idea to start small, then to build a dedicated following and scale up later as required.

Facebook advertising is fun, effective, and easy to get started. With such a large user base right at your fingertips, a business can see results immediately. However, it is easy to get carried away, so stay aware of your daily budget and keep within it.
